Group Financial Controller – Remote (UK)

About the role

We are seeking a Group Financial Controller to lead the consolidation and reporting function for a global consultancy. The role is fully remote with a monthly visit to the London head office, offering a competitive salary of £85‑90k plus bonus.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee group consolidation and preparation of monthly and annual financial statements across multiple legal entities worldwide.
• Manage the group audit process and coordinate all local statutory audits.
• Lead a global finance team responsible for statutory accounting, compliance, payroll posting and reconciliation.
• Work with external tax consultants, tax authorities and auditors on IFRS, transfer pricing and lease accounting (IFRS16).
• Develop and implement global accounting policies to unify standards across entities.
• Drive process simplification, system reliance and continuous improvement to achieve a three‑day month‑end close.

Required profile

• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
• Ready to start within one month (no three‑month notice).
• Proven experience managing finance for multiple legal entities, including FX revaluations and translations.
• Strong background in IFRS, IFRS16, and transfer pricing.
