Group Head of Quality

About the role

Dalkia UK is seeking a strategic, commercially‑minded leader to define and deliver a group‑wide quality vision across its five divisions. Reporting to senior leadership, the Group Head of Quality will embed a consistent approach to quality, continuous improvement, governance and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a group‑wide quality and continuous‑improvement strategy aligned with operational and commercial objectives.
• Provide strategic leadership across five divisions, ensuring consistency, governance and measurable quality improvements.
• Lead cross‑functional programmes to reduce waste, increase efficiency, improve compliance and enhance customer outcomes.
• Partner with divisional leaders to embed a proactive “right first time” culture.
• Establish and enhance quality management systems, frameworks, standards and reporting mechanisms.
• Drive operational‑excellence initiatives that support long‑term strategic growth.
• Act as the organisation’s subject‑matter expert on quality, governance, assurance and continuous improvement.
• Provide oversight and assurance across the supply chain to maintain robust quality standards.
• Use data, insights and performance metrics to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Coach, influence and engage stakeholders at all levels to build capability and embed sustainable change.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience leading quality, assurance or continuous‑improvement functions in a complex, multi‑division environment.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to align quality strategy to business objectives.
• Excellent influencing and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to translate strategic vision into operational delivery.
• Experience with governance, risk and compliance frameworks.
