Group Legal Counsel

About the role

We are seeking a Group Legal Counsel to join our leading independent telecommunications infrastructure company, based in London. The role will support the business on a broad range of commercial legal matters, focusing on drafting and negotiating customer and supplier agreements, and will provide pragmatic, commercially‑focused advice to drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Group Legal team on diverse commercial legal issues across the business.
• Draft, review and negotiate customer, supplier and commercial agreements.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risk, contractual obligations and commercial considerations.
• Assist with strategic initiatives, including financing transactions and M&A activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver commercially focused legal solutions.
• Manage legal documentation and ensure contractual compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Provide practical legal guidance in a fast‑paced environment and support legal governance processes.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with 2–4 years post‑qualification experience.
• Training experience from a leading international law firm or in‑house legal environment.
• Prior in‑house experience, including secondments, is advantageous.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to work autonomously in a fast‑moving setting.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• LLB or equivalent from an internationally recognised university and completion of LPC or SQE.
