About the role
Group finance without the corporate nonsense. This is a hands‑on senior finance role reporting to the Group Finance Director, responsible for the quality of financial reporting across the group.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and oversee group monthly and annual reporting.
- Lead the year‑end audit and manage external auditors.
- Strengthen and implement the controls framework.
- Improve reporting and consolidation processes.
- Support new systems, technology, automation and AI initiatives.
- Manage and develop the finance team across multiple entities.
Required profile
- Qualified accountant with extensive group finance experience.
- Proven track record in managing people and audit responsibilities.
- Experience in businesses with £50m‑£150m+ turnover.
- Hands‑on approach with ability to identify and improve weak controls.
- Enthusiastic about leveraging AI and automation in finance.
