Guest Relations Executive

About the role

We are seeking a Guest Relations Executive to be the welcoming face of a prestigious hotel in Milton Keynes. You will ensure every guest receives a warm, personalised welcome and enjoys an outstanding experience from arrival to departure, while also identifying opportunities to increase revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a warm, professional, and personalised welcome to every guest
• Build strong relationships with guests and tailor recommendations to enhance their stay
• Coordinate memorable experiences for VIPs, returning guests, and special occasions
• Handle guest enquiries, feedback, and service recovery with confidence and professionalism
• Promote room upgrades, spa experiences, dining packages, and other hotel services
• Encourage repeat business by promoting the benefits of direct bookings
• Collaborate with Reception, Reservations, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Spa, and Events teams
• Monitor guest feedback and identify opportunities for service improvement
• Support duty management responsibilities during designated shifts
• Maintain accurate guest records and prepare reports on satisfaction and commercial performance

Required profile

• Prior experience in guest relations, receptionist, hotel operations or front‑of‑house role
• Hotel experience is essential
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities
• Confident upselling of products and services
• Excellent problem‑solving skills
• Professional, confident and personable approach
