About the role
The role involves delivering Level 2 and Level 3 hair dressing and barbering assessment at an FE college in Greater Manchester. It is a part‑time, temporary position starting in September 2026 for the full academic year.
Key responsibilities
- Assess Level 2 and Level 3 hair dressing and barbering learners.
- Provide tutorial and pastoral support to students across the college.
- Work within the college’s hair department, meeting the college’s standards of work.
Required profile
- UK‑recognised assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, CAVA, D32/D33 or equivalent).
- Current DBS check on the update service.
- Hair dressing or barbering qualifications at Level 2 and 3 with relevant industry experience.
Required skills
What we offer
- £20‑30 per hour.
- 15 hours per week (Tuesdays and Thursdays) for the academic year.
