About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Hairdressing Lecturer to join its school in Bromley. You will deliver both practical and theoretical hairdressing education to learners in a supportive environment, working full‑time from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver hairdressing lessons that cover practical techniques and theoretical knowledge.
- Assess student progress, provide feedback and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure a safe learning environment by adhering to safeguarding policies and up‑to‑date training.
- Collaborate with school staff to develop curriculum and support student wellbeing.
- Maintain professional standards and comply with all school policies.
Required profile
- Experience teaching hairdressing or working within the hair & beauty industry.
- Relevant hairdressing qualification; teaching qualification is desirable.
- Current safeguarding training (issued within the last year).
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
- Two professional references covering the last two years.
