Job description

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to join our team developing wireless‑connected IoT products. You will own the hardware design from concept through to high‑volume production, ensuring reliable, compliant devices.

Key responsibilities

Lead hardware design activities from concept to production, including schematics and PCB layout reviews.
Develop platforms using embedded processors, cellular modules and low‑power MCUs.
Perform verification, validation and debugging of hardware designs.
Create and maintain technical, test and manufacturing documentation.
Support regulatory compliance (RED, safety) and work with manufacturing partners for product introduction.
Review quality reports, resolve production issues and provide technical consultancy.

Required profile

Proven experience in commercial product development for high‑volume manufacture.
Background in consumer electronics, mobile devices or wearable technology.
Strong understanding of power design, RF front‑end, and digital/embedded interfaces.

Required skills

Power design: DC‑DC converters, linear regulators, Power over Ethernet, low‑noise RF power.
Digital & embedded interfaces: I²C, SPI, RS‑232, RS‑485, DDR, NOR/NAND flash, Ethernet (10/100/GbE), USB 3.0, PCIe, SFP.
RF & wireless: Cellular modems, Bluetooth, Zigbee, Wi‑Fi, RF front‑end, LNA, PA, RF filters.
Hardware development: schematic capture, PCB design/layout, high‑speed and high‑frequency PCB design, Design for Manufacture.
Verification & validation, regulatory compliance, test & validation.
Hands‑on test equipment: oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers, network analysers, radio/RF test equipment.
