Hardware Engineer – £70k‑£80k + Bonus – Surrey (Hybrid)

About the role

We are seeking a Hardware Engineer to join an IoT consultancy on a Greenfield project. You will be responsible for the complete hardware development lifecycle, from initial specifications through design, testing, certification and production.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and test hardware platforms and custom system components.
• Own the end‑to‑end design process, coordinating with specialist third‑party experts.
• Produce detailed specifications, certification documentation and support production hand‑over.
• Collaborate directly with the Director of IoT and cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing communication or wireless technology products.
• Hands‑on involvement across the full project lifecycle.
• Background in radio technologies such as cellular, 5G or related wireless standards.
