Head Barista

About the role

As Head Barista you will lead the coffee team at our Gerrards Cross bakery, ensuring every cup of specialty coffee meets Gail's high standards while supporting the delivery of fresh food, bread and cakes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, train and develop barista staff to maximise team potential.
• Maintain and enforce food safety standards across all bakery outputs.
• Oversee daily coffee preparation, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Organise workflow and communicate clearly to keep service smooth on varied days.
• Collaborate with bakery staff to deliver fresh food, bread and cakes to high standards.

• Passionate about coffee with a positive, smile‑focused attitude.
• Motivated to take charge and act as a role model for the team.
• Organised and able to communicate clearly under changing conditions.
• Committed to training and developing others.
