Head of Analytics & Insights

About the role

SGN is seeking a forward‑thinking leader to head its DataOps and Analytics & Insights capability. You will shape how data drives decisions across the organisation, turning complex information into clear insight that supports operational, regulatory and strategic outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deliver the enterprise analytics strategy, setting KPIs and a roadmap aligned to business priorities and regulatory commitments.
• Own the analytics demand pipeline, prioritise work based on value, maintain a robust backlog and track measurable business benefits.
• Lead the design and delivery of executive, regulatory and operational dashboards using Power BI, ensuring clear storytelling and stakeholder sign‑off.
• Standardise metrics, definitions and semantic models to drive data consistency and eliminate duplicate reporting.
• Champion a data‑driven culture by enabling self‑service, improving data literacy and establishing best‑practice frameworks, templates and communities of practice.
• Collaborate with Information Management and programme teams (e.g., Salesforce, Oracle Fusion) to align data standards, set SLAs for data refresh, quality and issue resolution.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading analytics or BI teams, preferably in complex or regulated environments.
• Strong expertise in reporting and data visualisation tools, particularly Power BI, with solid knowledge of data modelling and KPI design.
• Experience managing an analytics portfolio, prioritising work based on value and delivering measurable outcomes.
• Confident communicator able to translate data into clear, compelling stories for senior stakeholders.
