About the role
As Head of Business Development and Sales at DEKRA Automotive you will lead a fast‑paced, commercially driven function that shapes and executes the UK sales and marketing strategy. You will build a strong pipeline, coach a high‑performing team and ensure the delivery of ambitious revenue targets while supporting DEKRA’s mission for a safe, sustainable future.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute the UK sales and marketing strategy to drive pipeline growth and meet revenue targets.
- Own the full sales lifecycle, including Salesforce CRM management, forecasting, reporting and performance metrics.
- Recruit, manage and develop a scalable Business Development and Sales team.
- Maintain and expand key strategic client relationships and collaborate with global teams to win new business.
- Identify new market sectors, services and cross‑selling opportunities to broaden DEKRA’s market presence.
Required profile
- 10+ years of experience in technical sales, including leadership of high‑performing sales teams.
- Proven ability to build and deliver a £5‑10 million+ sales pipeline and achieve revenue growth.
- Strong experience with CRM/ERP systems and structured sales processes.
- Track record of consultative selling and solving complex customer challenges.
