Head of Data and Analytics

About the role

The charity is looking for a senior leader to shape and execute its data and analytics strategy. Working hybrid (2 days in London) and managing a team of eight, you will turn data into a strategic asset that drives clinical, operational and business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deliver the organisation’s enterprise data strategy.
• Provide executive leadership for data governance, architecture, analytics, automation and AI.
• Establish and maintain enterprise‑wide data governance frameworks, ownership and quality management.
• Own the target data architecture and ensure data is secure, high‑quality and accessible.
• Drive scalable data operating models, self‑service analytics and data‑literacy programmes.
• Lead the adoption of advanced analytics, automation and AI while ensuring appropriate controls.
• Manage third‑party vendors, partners and technology suppliers.

Required profile

• Significant senior data leadership experience, accountable for enterprise data strategy and analytics delivery.
• Proven ability to influence executive decisions with data‑driven insight.
• Experience establishing data governance frameworks, stewardship and quality management.
• Strong commercial mindset with portfolio prioritisation, ROI and benefits realisation.
• Background in clinical, healthcare or regulated data environments (advantageous).
• Excellent stakeholder leadership and ability to manage competing priorities.
