Head of Digital Growth

About the role

M&G is seeking a senior leader to drive its Digital Growth agenda across the Asset Management and Life segments. The Head of Digital Growth will shape the next‑era digital operating model, platforms and services that support adviser and customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multi‑year digital modernisation programmes from discovery through benefit realisation.
• Own the commercial case for modernisation, including sizing, sequencing, investment trade‑offs and governance approval.
• Define and embed a test‑and‑learn operating model (discovery → alpha → beta → live) across cross‑functional squads.
• Partner with Digital Proposition, Experience Design and Technology leads to set digital standards and growth thesis.
• Orchestrate squads across Product, Experience, Design, Technology, Marketing, Distribution and Operations to deliver outcomes.

Required profile

• Senior, externally credible leader with strong commercial rigour.
• Ability to balance business case, payback and unit economics with Consumer Duty, accessibility and operational efficiency.
• Experience shaping long‑term strategy and executing short‑term experiments.
• Proven track record of delivering digital transformation in financial services or related sectors.
