Head of ECommerce

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing privately owned UK business that is heavily investing in digital commerce, marketplace growth and international expansion. As Head of ECommerce you will sit on the senior leadership team and own online revenue growth across multiple brands and channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a company‑wide ecommerce strategy that drives revenue and profitability.
• Identify and capture new ecommerce opportunities following acquisitions and market expansion.
• Build scalable processes and governance to support long‑term growth.
• Manage and optimise Amazon Seller Central performance, including Amazon FBA and marketplace sales.
• Expand sales on eBay and emerging online marketplaces, improving product visibility and conversion.
• Lead website trading, merchandising and promotional planning to enhance customer journeys.
• Improve conversion rates through CRO and UX enhancements.
• Deliver strong ecommerce KPIs such as revenue, AOV, conversion and customer retention.
• Use data and analytics to inform commercial decisions and develop reporting dashboards.
• Monitor competitor activity, market trends and customer behaviour.
• Lead, mentor and develop the ecommerce team while managing senior stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Commercially focused senior leader with a proven track record of growing ecommerce revenue.
• Experience managing multiple brands and channels, including marketplaces and DTC websites.
• Strong data‑driven decision‑making ability and comfort influencing board‑level discussions.
• Excellent stakeholder and team leadership skills.
