Head of Facilities

About the role

The Head of Facilities will lead the maintenance and operation of the retailer’s buildings and infrastructure from the London head office. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure all facilities run safely, efficiently and cost‑effectively while supporting the business’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Establish, tender and manage key contractors and suppliers for facilities and property services.
• Oversee and drive facility‑related projects from inception to successful completion.
• Manage budgets, control costs and continuously improve service quality and operational efficiency.
• Implement business‑wide changes to maintain legal, statutory and regulatory compliance across all facilities.
• Lead the ongoing maintenance and optimisation of building systems to ensure safety, functionality and operational excellence.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, external suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in a senior facilities management role, preferably in a multi‑site retail, hospitality or leisure environment.
• Proven leadership ability to direct both in‑house teams and external suppliers.
• Strong project‑management experience in live operating environments.
• Strategic thinking with exceptional budget management skills.
