Head of Finance & Business Transformation

About the role

This senior position will lead the finance function while driving a major business transformation focused on modernising the company’s IT infrastructure and ERP systems. You will act as the bridge between commercial and operational teams, ensuring financial and technological alignment during a period of rapid growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end transformation of IT infrastructure and ERP implementation.
• Collaborate with external consultants to embed a fit‑for‑purpose ERP solution.
• Oversee day‑to‑day financial reporting and ensure compliance.
• Lead project planning, budgeting and stakeholder communication across the group.
• Provide strategic financial insight to the MD and senior leadership team.

Required profile

• Proven experience embedding ERP or sophisticated software in a growth‑oriented SME (turnover ~£30 m).
• Strong relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills.
• Finance background with relevant qualifications (CIMA or equivalent).
• Ability to navigate complex problems with a calm, methodical approach.
• Comfort with ambiguity and a passion for driving positive change.
