Head of Finance – Consulting & Technology

About the role

The Head of Finance for Consulting & Technology (C&T) reports directly to the Global Solutions CFO and leads the finance function for a £70m business unit with around 1,000 staff. This senior leadership position is hybrid, requiring attendance at the London office twice a week.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 33 professionals, including five direct reports across FP&A, financial control and transactional finance.
• Design and innovate financial analytics, KPIs, forecasting, planning and budgeting processes for the C&T unit.
• Oversee the financial control function, ensuring robust systems, processes and controls.
• Improve balance‑sheet reporting and controls across the business.
• Drive finance transformation, operating‑model improvements and offshoring initiatives.
• Manage transactional finance to maximise billing, liquidity and efficiency.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and support the integration of Consulting and Technology units.
• Review and enhance financial reporting, policies and procedures.
• Own the annual C&T budget, consolidating submissions across industries and capabilities.

Required profile

• Senior finance leader with experience overseeing FP&A, financial control and transactional finance.
• Proven ability to manage large, geographically dispersed teams.
• Track record of delivering finance transformation and change programmes.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to provide deep financial analysis to senior stakeholders.
• Experience working in a hybrid or multi‑site environment.
