Head of Finance (Hospitality & Events)

About the role

The Head of Finance will own the entire finance function for a distinguished hospitality and events venue in Farnham. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will combine strategic financial oversight with hands‑on accounting to support commercial decision‑making and the organisation’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts, including profit & loss, balance sheet and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and present the monthly accounts pack to the Board in slide format.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and update monthly forecasts.
• Generate cash‑flow forecasts, identify financial risks and recommend mitigations.
• Oversee payroll, invoicing, supplier payments and revenue recognition.
• Maintain robust financial controls and ensure statutory compliance.

Required profile

• Senior finance professional with experience leading a finance function.
• Proven ability to work closely with senior leadership and Board members.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to influence business decisions.
