Head of Financial Control - EMEA & LatAm

About the role

Neuberger is seeking a Head of Financial Control to lead financial oversight for its corporate entities across EMEA and Latin America. The role combines governance, reporting, audit coordination, and strategic financial analysis to support the firm’s investment objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Full ownership of financial oversight for multiple corporate entities.
• Governance and control of operational accounting entries from centralized functions.
• Production of monthly, quarterly and annual management reports.
• Statutory and regulatory reporting, cash and capital management.
• Lead interim and year‑end audits, coordinating with audit teams and internal owners.
• Review and improve processes, procedures and systems.
• Manage a small finance team and escalate issues to the Head of Finance EMEALA.
• Operational accounting, balance‑sheet reconciliations and accruals.
• Manual rebate calculations and business support activities.
• Board‑level reporting, financial modelling for new product launches, fund reviews and investor impact analysis.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with 10+ years post‑qualification experience.
• Background in financial services preferred.
• Proven experience managing small finance teams.
• Strong understanding of UK GAAP and US GAAP.
