Head of Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

Kooth is seeking a strategic and commercially‑focused Head of Financial Planning & Analysis to join the senior finance team. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead end‑to‑end budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting for both UK and US operations, helping the business make data‑driven decisions that support sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Own and continuously improve the planning and forecasting function, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and actionable insight.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly rolling forecasts across all business units in the UK and US.
• Produce comprehensive board packs that analyse performance versus plan and highlight key trends.
• Drive monthly business reviews with senior leaders, evaluating variances and enforcing accountability.
• Partner with the Chief Commercial Officer and commercial teams to translate sales pipelines into quantitative financial outcomes, applying weighted probabilities and conversion metrics.
• Review, model and sign off on complex commercial proposals, enterprise contracts and subscription models.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience, preferably within a fast‑growing, technology‑enabled organisation.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to challenge strategic initiatives and investment proposals.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, capable of presenting complex data to senior stakeholders.
• Experience managing cross‑functional finance partners and driving accountability for financial targets.
