Head of Fund Operations & Transformation

About the role

We are seeking a senior operational leader to head fund operations and drive a major transformation programme for a fast‑growing financial services organisation. The role combines strategic oversight of complex fund structures with a mandate to modernise processes, embed technology and build a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary operations team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
• Oversee end‑to‑end fund operational processes, ensuring accurate NAV production, valuation oversight and robust accounting controls.
• Manage relationships with fund administration providers and third‑party service partners.
• Ensure governance, risk management and regulatory compliance across all fund activities.
• Monitor operational KPIs, service delivery standards and data quality.
• Support fund launches, restructures and operational change initiatives.
• Design and implement scalable operating models, leveraging automation and emerging technologies.
• Act as a visible change champion, partnering with senior stakeholders to achieve strategic business objectives.

Required profile

• Significant experience in fund accounting, investment operations or fund administration within financial services.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale operational transformation and process optimisation.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop high‑performing teams.
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and risk management in fund operations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
