Head of Learning & Development

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Head of Learning & Development to shape and deliver a diverse portfolio of training programmes. Reporting to senior leadership, you will combine strategic oversight with hands‑on delivery to ensure high‑quality learning experiences for a wide range of audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Learning & Development function and support the wider development team.
• Plan, coordinate and deliver training programmes, workshops and masterclasses.
• Create engaging learning content for both digital and traditional formats.
• Manage relationships with clients, partners, suppliers and subject‑matter experts.
• Monitor performance through reporting, evaluation and feedback, using data to improve programmes.
• Coordinate networks of mentors, ambassadors and experts.
• Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to meet organisational objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing, delivering and evaluating impactful training programmes.
• Strong stakeholder and relationship‑management abilities.
• Confidence facilitating workshops and training sessions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proactive, organised and able to prioritise effectively.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel across the UK when required.

What we offer

• Salary £48,000–£50,000 per year plus performance‑related pay.
• Hybrid working model.
• Full‑time, Monday‑Friday schedule.
