Head of Manufacturing IT & Business Systems

About the role

We are seeking a senior IT leader to own Manufacturing IT Services and GxP‑regulated Business Systems for a leading pharmaceutical manufacturing hub in the UK. The role will shape digital strategy, ensure compliance and drive technology transformation across the EMEA manufacturing network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Manufacturing IT Services and Business Systems across the EMEA hub.
• Define and execute the site’s digital transformation and technology strategy.
• Maintain GxP compliance, validation, data integrity and audit readiness.
• Manage technology portfolios, vendor relationships and key stakeholder engagement.
• Build, develop and mentor high‑performing IT teams.

Required profile

• Proven IT leadership experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of GxP, CSV and validation requirements.
• Experience delivering business‑critical manufacturing and laboratory systems.
• Ability to act as regional lead for GxP IT governance and alignment.
• Track record of delivering digital and business transformation programmes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
