About the role

Head of Marketing – a hybrid role based in Reading – supporting a market‑leading B2B organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced marketing professional to lead a full‑function team and develop strategic capability, with a clear pathway toward a Marketing Director position.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and optimisation of business solutions and value propositions.
• Own brand positioning, messaging and multi‑channel delivery across B2B audiences.
• Develop joint marketing initiatives with key supplier partners.
• Oversee CRM strategy, customer segmentation and data‑driven campaign execution.
• Enhance customer journeys to improve acquisition, retention and cross‑sell.
• Deliver a programme of high‑impact events, including customer and company‑led initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a senior marketing role within a B2B environment.
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to link marketing to revenue and profit.
• Experience working in a sales‑led organisation.
• Hands‑on experience with CRM systems and data‑driven marketing.
• Demonstrable experience managing and developing a team.
• Confident influencing senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
