Head of Pricing – Global Express Delivery

About the role

The Head of Pricing will shape and execute the pricing strategy for a fast‑growing global express delivery business. Reporting to senior leadership, you will ensure pricing remains competitive, financially sustainable and aligned with the company’s growth objectives across domestic, international and e‑commerce services.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the end‑to‑end pricing strategy for all product and service lines.
• Develop pricing frameworks for Enterprise, Mid‑Market and SME segments.
• Lead pricing governance, approval processes and commercial reviews.
• Prepare pricing decision papers and business cases for executive approval.
• Monitor pricing and profitability at customer, product and route levels.
• Analyse profitability drivers such as carrier, linehaul, customs and handling costs.
• Identify margin improvement opportunities and corrective actions.
• Maintain market intelligence on UK and international parcel markets, competitor pricing and regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Ambitious professional with proven experience in pricing strategy and profitability management.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate market dynamics into pricing decisions.
• Experience working cross‑functionally with Commercial, Finance, Operations and Carrier Management teams.

• Base salary £86,900 – £91,900 per year (inclusive of car allowance).
