Head of Property Sales

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Head of Property Sales to lead our multi‑office client in Central Essex. You will oversee the full sales cycle across all price ranges, from market appraisals to successful completion, while driving team performance and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate canvassing activities to generate new business.
• Manage and develop a sales team, holding regular morning meetings.
• Oversee property valuations, listings and effective marketing to buyers.
• Achieve strong average fees and grow market share.
• Maintain regular contact with buyers, vendors and other parties through to legal completion.
• Handle financial and legal aspects of the sales process.
• Set and exceed personal and branch targets, ensuring smooth daily operations.

Required profile

• Target‑driven with a strong desire to succeed in a sales environment.
• Excellent communication and ability to articulate ideas concisely.
• Proven experience managing a team of negotiators.
• At least 2 years’ experience as a sales manager.
• Organised, able to work both independently and collaboratively.

Required skills

• Proficiency with agency software systems.
