Head of Quality

About the role

Greensleeves Care is seeking a strategic and influential Head of Quality to shape the future of care across its not‑for‑profit organisation. This senior leader will drive quality, clinical governance and compliance, ensuring outstanding experiences for older residents and a thriving environment for staff.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement an organisation‑wide quality and compliance strategy.
• Lead clinical governance, quality assurance and continuous improvement frameworks.
• Use audits, reporting and data insights to identify trends and drive service enhancements.
• Support care homes in achieving and maintaining high‑quality, safe, and compliant services.
• Promote organisational learning, innovation and resident‑centred service design.
• Provide expert advice on quality, resident safety and regulatory matters.
• Strengthen governance, risk management and assurance systems.

Required profile

• Senior leadership experience in health or social care.
• Strong expertise in quality, governance, clinical and regulatory frameworks.
• Strategic thinker who stays connected to operational realities.
• Ability to influence and inspire at all organisational levels.
• Data‑driven decision‑maker who challenges thinking and drives innovation.
• Confidence to lead senior‑level quality conversations.
