About the role
We are looking for a Head of Repairs to provide strategic and operational leadership for Golding Homes’ in‑house Repairs Service, ensuring safe, compliant and value‑for‑money repairs across our homes. The role will shape the service during a period of transformation, driving performance, customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the DLO covering responsive repairs, damp and mould, disrepair, structural repairs, insurance works, permissions and specialist maintenance.
- Accountable for performance, compliance, budgets, productivity, service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Use data, customer feedback and complaints learning to improve services and reduce repeat issues.
- Develop and manage managers, supervisors and technical teams, fostering a high‑performing, customer‑focused culture.
- Ensure safe and compliant repair operations while delivering value for money.
Required profile
- HNC/HND or equivalent professional qualification in construction or property‑related discipline.
- Strong technical experience in building pathology, damp and mould, structural defects and property maintenance.
- Leadership experience managing repair or maintenance teams.
- Ability to use data and feedback to drive service improvements.
