Head of Retail & Wholesale

About the role

The luxury watch retailer is looking for a dynamic Head of Retail & Wholesale to lead its UK and Ireland store network from the London headquarters. You will be responsible for shaping the brand’s market presence, protecting its positioning and driving sustainable growth across both retail and wholesale channels.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations and strategic direction for retail, wholesale, marketing, PR and customer care in the UK market.
• Manage the brand’s budget and P&L, develop and execute annual business plans aligned with global strategy.
• Drive sales and marketing initiatives, lead distribution strategy and manage key retail partnerships.
• Control purchasing, inventory and ensure compliance with international procedures.
• Lead, develop and motivate a high‑performing team across functions.
• Collaborate with Finance, HR, Legal, Logistics, IT and maintain strong communication with headquarters.
• Provide insightful reporting and continuously identify performance‑enhancing opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven sales management experience in both retail and wholesale, preferably within watches or jewellery.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams in a high‑performance environment.
• Commercially astute, entrepreneurial mindset with deep market‑dynamics understanding.
• Strong negotiation skills and a track record of driving growth.

• Salary up to £100,000 per year, with the opportunity to earn an additional £20,000 bonus.
