Head of Sales

About the role

UBT, a fast‑growing player in the innovative construction supplies sector, is seeking a Head of Sales to lead a high‑performing team. This senior position will shape commercial strategy, drive revenue growth and work closely with Business Development Managers to secure major opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and inspire a successful sales team.
• Support Business Development Managers in securing and progressing key opportunities.
• Adopt a consultative approach to client relationships and solution selling.
• Drive revenue growth and identify new business opportunities.
• Lead by example through strong leadership, professionalism and sales excellence.
• Build long‑term customer relationships within construction supplies or related sectors.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure outstanding customer experience and commercial success.

Required profile

• Proven track record of delivering sales growth and commercial success.
• Previous experience in a senior sales leadership role.
• Strong team‑management ability to engage, inspire and motivate.
• Consultative sales approach with excellent relationship‑building skills.
• Passion, energy and a hands‑on leadership style.
• Ability to lead by example and support the team in closing key sales opportunities.
• Experience in innovative construction supplies or a similar sector (mechanical, plumbing, heating) is highly advantageous.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

• Competitive salary of £65,000 – £75,000 plus commission.
