Head of Stand Installations

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Stand Installations to lead the planning, management and delivery of exhibition stand installations across the UK and Europe. You will oversee projects from production through installation, dismantle and return, ensuring safety, timeliness, budget compliance and high quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all exhibition stand installations from initial planning to final completion.
• Schedule labour, vehicles, equipment and create detailed installation programmes.
• Lead, mentor and develop the in‑house installation team.
• Maintain a trusted network of UK and European subcontractors.
• Oversee onsite installations, resolve issues and ensure successful project delivery.
• Coordinate dismantles, logistics and warehouse returns.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, including RAMS and PPE.
• Maintain quality standards through final inspections and continuous improvements.
• Work with Project Managers and the General Manager to control costs, improve efficiency and maximise profitability.
• Build strong relationships with clients, exhibition organisers, venues and site teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in exhibition stand installations.
• Proven experience leading installation teams.
• Strong knowledge of shell‑scheme and bespoke stand construction.
• Excellent planning, organisational and leadership abilities.
• Full UK driving licence; forklift licence and European installation experience are desirable.
