Head of Warehouse, Procurement & Supply Chain

About the role

Bis Henderson is seeking an experienced Head of Warehouse, Procurement & Supply Chain to lead end‑to‑end supply chain operations for a fast‑growing manufacturing business in Wirral. Reporting to the senior management team, you will combine strategic planning with hands‑on delivery to drive continuous improvement and support ambitious growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and inspire warehouse, procurement and supply chain teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Design and execute supply chain strategies that improve efficiency, strengthen supplier relationships and meet sustainability goals.
• Implement a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and optimise processes, monitoring KPIs such as inventory turnover, supplier performance and OTIF.
• Build and manage supplier partnerships across the UK and Europe, negotiating commercial agreements and ensuring compliance.
• Oversee supply chain budgets, track financial performance and contribute to strategic business decisions.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience in warehouse, procurement and supply chain, preferably within manufacturing.
• Strong strategic and operational capability with a track record of continuous improvement.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and logistics across UK and European networks.
• Commercial, financial and project‑management acumen.
• Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
