Health and Safety Administrator – Manufacturing

About the role
This is a days‑based position split between the factory floor and office in Halifax, supporting a specialist steel manufacturing business. You will carry out internal audits, ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards, conduct safety tours with production staff, and assist the Health and Safety Manager with training workshops and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Perform internal audits and support compliance activities.
- Conduct safety inspections and regular factory safety tours.
- Assist the Health and Safety Manager with training delivery and documentation.
- Maintain records for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 compliance.
- Support continuous improvement projects related to health and safety.
Required profile
- Experience as a Health and Safety Administrator or similar role.
- Background in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Ability to commute to Halifax, West Yorkshire.
