Health and Safety Training Assistant

About the role

The Health and Safety Training Assistant will support Cavendish Nuclear’s commitment to a safe workplace by designing and delivering high‑quality health, safety and environmental training across our Leicester and Bristol sites. You will work closely with internal teams and external bodies to ensure training aligns with current legislation and industry best practice.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging face‑to‑face and virtual health, safety and environmental training sessions at multiple locations.
• Review, update and maintain training materials to reflect the latest regulations and company standards.
• Create digital learning packages for internal training platforms.
• Collaborate with IOSH, ECITB and other external partners to enhance training content.
• Maintain accurate training records and documentation.

Required profile

• Level 3 (or equivalent) health and safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH General Certificate or NVQ Level 3).
• Recognised teaching or training qualification.
• IOSH membership (or working towards) with active CPD.
• Experience delivering IOSH training is advantageous.
• Ability to obtain and maintain UK Security Check (SC) clearance.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Effective presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to develop digital learning content.
