Health and Social Care Assessor – Hybrid (Full/Part‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking a Health and Social Care Assessor to support learners pursuing apprenticeship qualifications across Bolton and surrounding areas. The role combines remote coaching with scheduled workplace visits, allowing you to manage your own diary while delivering high‑quality assessment and training.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with learners and employers through regular reviews and engagement.
• Deliver teaching, coaching and assessment sessions aligned to apprenticeship standards.
• Conduct workplace observations to assess practical competency.
• Review learner work, provide timely constructive feedback and support functional skills in Maths and English.
• Prepare learners for the End Point Assessment and monitor progress to ensure timely qualification achievement.
• Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and a safe learning environment at all times.

Required profile

• Level 3+ qualification in Health & Social Care.
• Minimum two years recent experience in adult health & social care at senior carer level or above.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the region.
• Ability to meet all essential criteria listed in the posting.
