Health & Safety Advisor – Automotive

About the role

Join a fast‑growing automotive business as a Health & Safety Advisor and help embed a proactive safety culture across more than 20 sites. You will work closely with managers and technicians, providing practical guidance to ensure everyday operations meet UK health and safety legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site visits, audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks.
• Develop, review and maintain risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Lead incident investigations and produce clear, actionable reports.
• Support compliance with ISO standards and other regulatory requirements.
• Deliver training, briefings and promote a culture of proactive reporting.

Required profile

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a multi‑site or operational environment.
• Hands‑on, pragmatic approach with strong relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and passionate about improving workplace safety.
