About the role

Our client, a well‑established business in Tyne & Wear, is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to support a busy, fast‑paced manufacturing site. You will work across the operation to ensure regulatory compliance, support audits and investigations, and help embed a proactive safety culture.

Key responsibilities

Maintain day‑to‑day health and safety compliance across the site.
Assist with internal and external safety audits and investigations.
Develop and deliver safety training and awareness programmes.
Conduct risk assessments and recommend control measures.
Promote a strong, proactive safety culture among all teams.

Required profile

Minimum NEBOSH Certificate.
Proven health and safety experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Organised and confident when engaging with site teams.
Ability to manage compliance, audits and day‑to‑day H&S activity.
