Health & Safety Advisor (Training on Quality)

About the role
We are seeking a proactive Health & Safety Advisor to join a fast‑growing manufacturing SME. You will split your time between office work and the shop floor across two local sites, supporting both health & safety and quality initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day health & safety issues on a busy manufacturing site.
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits for ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Assist in achieving ISO 45001 certification and progress towards ISO 14001.
- Provide training and support on quality processes.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to drive continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Current Health & Safety Advisor/Officer or similar role.
- Engineering background preferred.
- Motivation to develop further in quality management.
Required skills
- ISO 45001 knowledge.
- ISO 14001 knowledge.
- Health & safety audit experience.
- Risk assessment and incident investigation.

- Salary £40,000‑£50,000 per year plus bonus.
