Health & Safety Coordinator – Part‑time (12‑month maternity cover)

About the role

This part‑time, 12‑month fixed‑term position supports a well‑established manufacturing site in Aston Clinton. It is designed to cover maternity leave and offers flexible school‑hour scheduling, making it ideal for candidates balancing work with other commitments.

Key responsibilities

• Support and implement the site’s health and safety strategy in line with UK legislation.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety audits and accident investigations.
• Deliver health and safety training, toolbox talks and maintain related documentation.
• Collaborate with managers and employees to promote a positive safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001 management system where applicable.

Required profile

• Previous health and safety experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
