Health, Safety & Environmental Lead - Food Industry

About the role
Our client is looking for a Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Site Lead to join their growing team in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment. You will work closely with the Group HSE Manager and site leadership, combining hands‑on site leadership, trend analysis and operations administration.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct site risk assessments and review colleague hazard reports.
- Analyse HSE data to identify improvement areas and escalate risks when necessary.
- Lead by example and advocate for HSE controls across the site.
- Maintain up‑to‑date HSE reports and support site inductions.
Required profile
- Minimum IOSH Occupational Health & Safety qualification (working towards a NEBOSH certificate).
- Experience in a fast‑paced food manufacturing environment.
- Previous supervisory experience (ideal).
- Desire to work in an entry/mid‑level H&S role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
