Health & Social Care Lecturer – T Level & BTEC

About the role

Southwark College, part of NCG, is seeking a Health & Social Care Lecturer to deliver T Level Health and BTEC Level 3 courses. You will inspire and support learners to develop the knowledge and practical skills needed for careers in the health sector.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, high‑quality teaching, learning and assessment for T Level Health and BTEC programmes.
• Develop and update lesson plans, schemes of learning and teaching resources in collaboration with colleagues.
• Assess student work, provide constructive feedback and monitor progress, intervening where necessary.
• Prepare students for employment or further study by developing theoretical understanding and practical competencies.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement.
• Foster an inclusive, professional learning environment and share best practice with the teaching team.

Required profile

• Strong background in Health and Social Care.
• Demonstrated passion for teaching and supporting learners.
• Experience or understanding of T Level and BTEC qualifications is desirable.
