Healthcare Analyst / Associate – Investment Banking (London)

About the role

Jefferies is expanding its European Healthcare team in London and is seeking a highly motivated Analyst or Associate. You will work closely with senior bankers on live transactions, providing strategic advisory and capital markets execution for healthcare clients across Europe and globally.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models and valuations (DCF, comparable companies, precedent transactions, LBO analysis).
• Prepare pitch materials, client presentations, and transaction documentation.
• Support execution of M&A, equity, and financing transactions.
• Conduct in‑depth sector and company analysis within healthcare subsectors.
• Coordinate due‑diligence processes and interact with internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends and contribute ideas to senior team members.

Required profile

• Analyst level: 1–3 years’ experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or a related role.
• Associate level: 3–6+ years’ experience, preferably with prior investment banking training and execution experience on M&A or capital‑markets transactions.
• Strong academic background, high attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple workstreams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a proactive, team‑oriented mindset.
