Healthcare Assistant – 1:1 Support for 11‑year‑old

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for an 11‑year‑old boy in his home in Shropshire. You will help him engage in his favourite activities while delivering specialist clinical care and promoting his independence.

Key responsibilities

• Overnight BiPAP and respiratory care
• Personal care and oral feeding support
• Mobility assistance, including passive physiotherapy and stretching exercises
• Encourage participation in video games, music, and YouTube
• Support daily living activities and overall wellbeing

Required profile

• Minimum 3 months care experience
• Confidence with medication administration, personal care, and moving & handling
• Clear communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to meet gender preferences if requested by the client
