Healthcare Assistant – Home Care Support

About the role

Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a caring Healthcare Assistant to support a gentleman in his late 50s living independently in Stafford. You will help him maintain his active lifestyle, attend community activities, and enjoy his hobbies while ensuring his safety and wellbeing at home.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care while promoting dignity and independence.
• Administer medication safely and accurately.
• Deliver catheter care and support moving and handling needs.
• Assist with community appointments, social outings, and leisure activities.
• Monitor overnight shifts to ensure a safe and restful environment.

Required profile

• Minimum three months paid experience in a UK care setting.
• Experience with adults who have complex healthcare needs is desirable.
• Commitment to safe, compassionate, person‑centred care.
• Willingness to complete client‑specific clinical training.
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
• Comfortable working around pets.
