About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join an adult residential care setting in the coastal town of Teignmouth. This is an ongoing, ad‑hoc shift role offering flexible hours and competitive hourly rates.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality personal care and support to residents.
• Assist with daily activities, promoting independence and dignity.
• Work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate records and report changes in residents’ conditions to nursing staff.
• Ensure a safe environment by following health and safety guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months recent UK experience as a Healthcare Assistant or similar role.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Two professional references.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) training.
• Manual handling training.
• SOCA Level 3 training.
• Compliance with all necessary checks and documentation.
