Healthcare Assistant – £17/hour – Edinburgh

About the role
Join a CQC‑regulated care provider in Edinburgh where every minute of your work is valued. As a Healthcare Assistant you will support individuals with a range of needs, from everyday assistance to complex health conditions, while working flexible shifts that suit your lifestyle.
Key responsibilities
- Administer medication safely and accurately.
- Provide catheter care and monitor health observations.
- Manage epilepsy and other complex care needs.
- Offer reassurance, dignity and emotional support to clients.
Required profile
- Care Certificate or NVQ in Health & Social Care.
- Minimum 1 year of care experience.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Safeguarding Level 2 or 3.
- DBS registered on the Update Service.
- Valid Manual Handling and Basic Life Support training.
Required skills
- Medication administration.
- Catheter care.
- Health observation monitoring.
- Basic Life Support.
