Healthcare Service Driver

About the role

The Healthcare Service Driver will follow a pre‑planned route across Clacton‑on‑Sea, collecting and safely handling healthcare waste for a range of medical and commercial customers. Working Monday‑to‑Friday with no scheduled weekends, you will be the front‑line of our waste‑management service, ensuring compliance and delivering courteous customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and safely transport healthcare waste, including sharps and pharmaceutical waste.
• Service and replace hygiene products at customer sites.
• Complete digital and paper compliance documentation for each collection.
• Return to the depot daily to unload collected waste.
• Follow centrally planned routes to maximise efficiency, safety and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Full UK manual driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Maximum of 6 penalty points and no disqualifying endorsements in the past five years.
• Availability to work within a 6 am–6 pm window, 40 hours per week.
• Reliability, safety‑conscious attitude and strong attention to detail.
