Healthcare Support Worker

About the role

The Healthcare Support Worker will join the Community Treatment and Care (CTAC) team, supporting patients across General Practice settings between Bellyeoman and Kelty Medical practices. The role is full‑time, Tuesday to Friday, 08:00‑17:00, and involves travel across the Fife division.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct patient support within General Practice environments.
• Perform phlebotomy procedures as required.
• Travel to multiple practice sites across Fife to deliver care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to clinical guidelines.

Required profile

• Experienced Healthcare Support Worker with a genuine interest in General Practice.
• Excellent organisational, time‑management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team‑player able to work flexibly across different sites.
• Willingness to become a member of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
• Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
