Heating Engineer (Full Training on Renewables)

About the role

This field‑based position offers a junior Plumbing and Heating Engineer the chance to work on renewable heating systems while receiving full specialist training on heat pumps and biomass technology. The role is based across the North West, covering locations such as Preston, Liverpool, Manchester and surrounding areas.

Key responsibilities

• Perform service and repair visits for heat‑pump and biomass heating installations on a door‑to‑door basis.
• Complete paperwork and report on each job using company systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to develop technical knowledge and obtain industry qualifications.

Required profile

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating.
• Highly motivated to up‑skill in renewable energy technologies.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
